During the day, the space is a modern, open area living room with magnificent 270° panoramic views — the perfect place to kick back and relax while taking in the scenery from vast floor to ceiling windows spanning two-and-a-half decks high. By night, Two70° transforms.

Want to spend some time hanging out and relaxing in your stateroom, but still want to have fun with the DreamWorks Animation characters? Invite them in through your TV with special DreamWorks programming in your stateroom. It's the perfect opportunity to catch up on the Penguins latest adventures in Madagascar. Get a bit more sleep while your kids re-live their favourite moments from Shrek. Or enjoy quiet family time together watching How to Train Your Dragon.

Music Hall

Music Hall is Quantum of the Seas' hottest live music venue and is the place for guests to enjoy intimate and exclusive access to live performances, while also rocking out in a rebellious and edgy setting. At night, Music Hall comes alive as the heart of the ship's entertainment featuring bands, musicians, DJ's, theme night parties and more.

North Star

One of Quantum of the Seas' most anticipated features, the exclusive North Star promises to elevate you both physically and emotionally, revealing 360-degree views of a world you've truly never seen before! Simply step into the North Star's intimate, jewel-shaped capsule and gently ascend over 300 feet above sea level, where you can take in breathtaking views of the ocean, the ship, and the exciting destinations that we visit.

RipCord by iFly

That's right: Fly! Another first you'll find only on Royal Caribbean is RipCord by iFly®. This skydiving simulator lets guests experience the sheer thrill and exhilaration of flying. RipCord by iFly®'s air machine will keep you afloat in a safe, controlled environment. So you can feel the wind in your hair, and utter WOW of flying, all without ever having to leave the ship.

SeaPlex

SeaPlex is not only the largest indoor active space at sea, but also the most groundbreaking. By day, guests can experience a circus school and flying trapeze, as well as a full-size regulation basketball court. Then by night, the first-ever bumper car and roller skating offerings at sea will deliver thrills, with music provided by a floating DJ booth that hovers above the activity happening below. And if all this play makes you hungry, the first-ever food truck at sea is on hand to serve up tasty snacks.

Rock Climbing

The signature rock climbing walls are the most popular feature and are available on all Royal Caribbean cruise ships. Whether it's your first time on a rock wall or you're a seasoned climber, there are challenges for all levels of experience. All of the equipment, including shoes, helmets and harnesses are available onboard.

Only Royal Caribbean offers families a collection of complimentary first-at-sea experiences that challenge all limitations, along with signature favourites that delight all ages.  Starting with the Adventure Ocean, where all staff hold a college degree in education, recreation or a related field and has experience working with children aged 3-17.

Aquanauts 3-5 years

Your Aquanauts' time on board will not only be fun, it will be educational too! They'll get to learn about local customs, do terrific science experiments and make great new friends.

Fun to be had with Theme Activities Nutty Nicknames, Un-Birthday Party, Camp Aquanauts, Ice-Cream Party, Super Hero Afternoon, Face Painting, Pirate Night, Talent Show, Under The Sea Night and Pajama Rama Movie Night. 

Explorers 6-8 years

One thing you won't have to worry about during your cruise adventure is a bored Explorer! All kinds of exciting activities await your 6- to 8-year-olds, like hands-on science experiments, scavenger hunts, theatre games and more.

Fun to be had with Wide World of Extremes Party, Dancing Through the Decades, Pirate Night, Ice-Cream Party, Scavenger Hunts, Bingo and Movie Mania.

Voyagers 9-11 years

The Voyagers programme is all about kids having a great time, learning new things and making new friends from all over the world. 
Ben & Jerry's® is a great spot for the pre-teen set to meet up with new friends over some ice cream.

Included activities are: The X Games, Rockin' Through the Decades, Reggae Beach Party, Scavenger Hunts, List-O-Rama, Backstage Tour, The Art Walk, Win, Cruise or Draw, Talent Show and Sports Tournaments.

Activities your child might enjoy in Aquanauts, Explorers and Voyagers include:

• Adventure Science by High Touch High Tech: Conducted by the specially trained Adventure Scientists, this programme combines fun and hands-on science experiments. Featured programmes include: Wacky Water Workshop, Magnetic Mayhem, Jurassic Jr., Sea Creature Treasures, Gummy Candies and Bubbling Potions.
• Adventure Art by Crayola® These activities acquaint children with diverse cultures through art. Children are introduced to mask making, fish kites and pottery. Crayola Adventure Art projects are specifically designed art activities for children of age 3-11. Using art as an avenue for exploration, the lesson plans provide a unique onboard experience for children, incorporating information about specific geographic locations with hands-on art. Crayola Art projects make creativity a part of every child's experience wherever they may travel.
• Sail into Story time These theme-related story time sessions bring each story to life with activities, discussions on each story and hands-on activities for the children to participate in following each reading.
• Fisher-Price Programming Parents can be sure their youngsters will have a good time and learn something too in this programme designed by the experts at Fisher-Price. Children will get a chance to play with Fisher-Price's newest and greatest toys!
• Adventure Theatre Blending educational activities with on-your-feet fun, Adventure Theatre participants get a first taste of the actor's craft, in which entire worlds are created with just their bodies, voices and imaginations. Using structured theatre games, vocal and physical exercises, and creativity-freeing activities, instructors guide groups through an exploration of the theatre arts.

To participate, children must be fully potty-trained and 3 years of age as of the first day of the cruise. (No pull-ups or nappies, please.) Hours: At Sea: 09:00 hrs to noon, 14:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs and 19:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs. In Port: Thirty minutes prior to the first shore excursion to 17:00 or return of the last shore excursion, 19:00 to 22:00

Teens 12-17 years

The best thing about the Teen programme is that it's not structured. The 12- to 14-year-old guests can come and join activities and games when they want to or just chill with friends in the teen-only lounge. For 15-17 year old guest as you're almost an adult and it's your holiday, too. So Royal Caribbean gives you the freedom you deserve. You can join events all day or come and go as you want. Royal Caribbean has got great laid-back places where you can just chill with your new friends.

Activities available to participate in include:  Mocktail competitions you can then enjoy, Sports games, You can take home a mix CD of all of your favourite Karaoke tunes so you can share them with your friends, Teen Casino, BBQ, Improv games, Jam Sessions, Theme nights and parties with Dancing.

Royal Babies 6 - 18 Months

Set aside some special family time on board and join in the fun of the Royal Babies interactive classes held in one of the onboard lounges. These enriching activities have been developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price and are hosted by trained youth staff. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children 6 to 36 months of age during all activity sessions.

Royal Tots 18 to 36 Months

Join your child in the fun of Royal Tots, interactive playgroup sessions developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price®. Each 45-minute session, held on one of the onboard lounges, offers activities that expose children to new experiences and teach you how to make playtime learning time as well. Plus, your little one will be all smiles and giggles as they make new discoveries, sing, sway and play with great toys they're sure to love. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during all playgroup sessions.

My Family Time Dining

The main dining room offers My Family Time Dining SM with an expedited dining and Adventure Ocean pick-up service (see details below), to keep the whole family happy and satisfied during your meals. With Royal Caribbean's expedited dining service, your children (ages 3 to 11) will be served their meals within 40 minutes and their appetisers will be served right away.

When they've finished dinner, take your children to meet the Adventure Ocean Youth staff at the dining room entrance doors. Royal Caribbean will escort your children directly to the Adventure Ocean facilities for scheduled evening activities. Then you can quickly return to your dining experience and enjoy a relaxing meal.  

Soak up the sun or savor the shade. The indoor/outdoor space will be your tranquil adults only retreat featuring cascading lagoons under a vast glass rooftop and indoor pool with retractable glass cover.

• Indulgence begins here. The seaside fitness center features modern exercise equipment powered by Technogym. And the full-service spa offers a beauty salon and spa treatments, including massage, manicures and body wraps.

There are 3 pools onboard Ovation of the Seas.

Splashaway Bay Kids WaterPark

A vibrant waterscape for kids and toddlers with sea creature water cannons, winding slides, a gigantic drench bucket and a multi-platform jungle-gym to keep everyone entertained for hours.
